It's the day the web2.0 died.

topherchris:

It all makes sense now. It’s all a part of Jeff Bezos’ evil plan. Give cheap hosting to the biggest time-wasters in people’s lives, then make it all disappear. The internet is over. Time to look into this “reading books” thing.

Update: Oh, and it’s just a coincidence that Amazon is having a sale right now on books. Right.

Now to auto-linking your blog’s feed. People with blogs want more traffic. Hey, me too. That’s totally OK and that’s expected, but auto-linking your blog to places like Twitter or Tumblr makes you look like a spammer. Why? Because your not participating in them. When you start following people and those look at your stream an all they see are blog update links, a high percentage of them wont follow you back. Also, sites like Twitter and Tumblr have strong mini communities that are there to have exchanges of content and ideas and to catch their attention I think it is a must that you participate in them.

Justice - ‘Stress’

If I wrote for the Sun I’d call it an ‘orgy of violence’ but I don’t so I’ll settle for say that the gang violence and brutality of this video reminds me of Kidulthood and La Haine. It’s arguably irresponsible - racial and generational tensions in Paris have been running high for years - but it’s unquestionably a great piece of film making.  The most troublesome aspect? Soundtracking the gang’s rampage with one of Justice’s coolest and darkest songs conveys an anti-hero like cool on them.  We’ve got the same kinds of gangs rampaging through the estates of West London, they’re not cool, they’re bored, brutal thugs.
